Hibiscus tiliaceus ‘Variegatus’ is commonly called the Variegated Mahoe Tree and is often grown for its stunning variegated heart-shaped foliage and brilliant single-day flowers. The small flowers tend to emerge in the summer open yellow and fade to red throughout the day. The foliage is quite large with green and cream leaves that have touches of pink on the new growth.

Hibiscus tiliaceus ‘Variegatus’ Care:
Does best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade at the expense of some flower production and bright coloration. Allow soil to dry slightly between waterings; prefers moist but well-draining potting medium.
