The Cranberry Hardy Waterlily is a bold, exotic choice for the water garden, adding drama and intrigue with cranberry-colored outer petals and darker red inner petals. Bred by renowned hybridizer Tony Moore, this hardy water lily adds a new depth of red to your ponds palette and performs reliably through summer with proper sun and feeding.
Planting Depth (soil to waters surface): Start 812 inches to establish; may be set up to 24 inches once growing strongly.
Container Size: Wide, shallow 16-inch+ aquatic fabric container (or plant directly into the shallow shelf of an earth-bottom pond).
Soil: Heavy loam topsoil only (no bagged compost/peat/perlite and never stones or gravel over the crown). Keep the crown slightly exposed.
Sunlight: Full, direct sun6+ hours, including strong midday sun, for vigorous growth and repeat flowering.
